About Aidvisor

Built for the people who feed the country

New Zealand farming runs on world-class operators making high-stakes decisions with fragmented information. We think that is a solvable problem.

Why we exist

The information gap costs more than any input

A New Zealand farm business is one of the most complex small enterprises in the country. It carries commodity price exposure, biological risk, climate volatility, significant debt, compliance obligations and a balance sheet worth millions — usually managed by a handful of people who also have stock to move before dark.

The information to run it well exists. It sits in an accounting package, a dozen spreadsheets, a folder of PDFs from the bank, a fertiliser plan, a stock reconciliation and a consultant’s report from eighteen months ago. Pulling it together takes days, so it happens once a year — long after the decisions that mattered were already made on instinct.

Aidvisor closes that gap. We bring the whole picture into one place and put an advisory-grade AI over the top of it, so the analysis that used to take a fortnight takes a question — and the answer arrives while the decision is still open.

What we believe

Advice must show its working

An answer you cannot verify is not advice, it is a guess with confidence. Every figure Aidvisor produces cites the document or record behind it. If we cannot show you where a number came from, we should not be showing you the number.

Your data is yours

We do not train public models on your business. We do not pool your numbers into a shared model for someone else’s benefit. We store your data securely, we let you export it whenever you like, and we delete it when you ask.

Software should not replace the relationship

The accountant, consultant and banker who know your business are an asset, not an inefficiency. Aidvisor is designed to bring them into the same current picture as you — and to give them back the hours they currently spend assembling data instead of advising.

Start where the customer is

Nobody has time for a six-month data migration. Aidvisor works from the documents already on your desk, so the platform earns its place in the first afternoon rather than the second quarter.

Where we start

New Zealand first, and properly

Aotearoa is the home market

We are building for NZ payout cycles, schedules, vintages and compliance realities first — not adapting a product designed for Iowa or the Murray-Darling.

Designed to travel

Market and sector are configuration in our architecture, not separate codebases. What works here can extend to other markets without a rebuild.

More than farming, in time

The same foundation applies wherever specialists drown in fragmented documents — veterinary, food safety, health and safety and beyond.

How we work

Close to the people using it

Aidvisor is built with farmers and rural professionals in the room, not inferred from a market report. If you are willing to tell us plainly what is wrong with it, we want to hear from you — early customers shape what we build next.

  • Direct access to the people building the product
  • Feature priorities set by what customers actually hit
  • Honest answers about what the platform cannot do yet
  • No overselling the AI — it is a tool, not an oracle

Get involved

Working with early customers

We are onboarding a small group of New Zealand farm businesses and advisory practices who want to shape the platform rather than inherit it. If that is you, tell us about your operation.
