Everything, in one place

What is Aidvisor?

Aidvisor is an AI business advisor for farm operations. It brings your financial records, stock data, land and pasture information, forestry and carbon positions, yields and climate data into one place, then lets you ask questions in plain English and get answers, scenarios and forward-looking plans backed by citations to your own documents.

Who is Aidvisor for?

Farm owners and operators, sharemilkers, vineyard managers and arable growers, plus the rural professionals who advise them — accountants, farm consultants, bankers and agronomists.

Which sectors do you support?

Dairy, sheep and beef, viticulture, and arable and cropping, with mixed operations well catered for. The underlying platform is designed to extend to other sectors over time.

Does Aidvisor replace my accountant or farm consultant?

No. It replaces the preparation work, not the judgement. Aidvisor assembles the numbers, models the scenarios and surfaces what changed — so the conversation with your advisor starts at the decision rather than at the data gathering. Advisors can be invited directly into the platform.

Is Aidvisor built specifically for New Zealand?

Yes. It is built for NZ conditions first — dairy payout cycles, sheep and beef schedules, viticulture vintages, arable contracts and New Zealand reporting realities. The architecture supports expansion into other markets, but Aotearoa is the home market.

How long does it take to get started?

Most operations are asking useful questions the same afternoon. You upload the documents you already have — accounts, GL exports, budgets, reconciliations, plans and agreements — and Aidvisor indexes them. There is no lengthy data migration project.

What documents should I upload first?

Start with your most recent annual accounts, a current cashflow budget, and whichever operational record matters most in your sector — a herd or stock reconciliation, block yield records, or paddock yields. That combination alone unlocks most of the common questions.

What file formats can Aidvisor read?

PDFs and spreadsheets cover the vast majority of what farm businesses hold. If your accountant or bank can email it to you, Aidvisor can generally work with it.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can send an email and upload a file, you can use Aidvisor. You ask questions the way you would ask a consultant, and answers come back in plain language.

Does it connect directly to my accounting software?

Live connectors to accounting platforms and weather services are on the roadmap. Today Aidvisor works from documents and exports you upload, which means you can be productive without waiting on integration work.

How do I know the answers are right?

Every answer cites the specific documents and records it was drawn from, so you can check the workings before acting. Aidvisor is designed to show where a number came from rather than assert it. As with any advisor, material decisions still deserve your own judgement.

What happens if Aidvisor does not have the data it needs?

It tells you. The system is built to flag when the information required to answer properly is missing, rather than filling the gap with a plausible guess.

Can Aidvisor change things in my accounting system?

No. The AI agents are read-only by design and have no write tools. Aidvisor advises; every action stays in your hands.

Where is my data stored?

Our database and document storage are hosted in Singapore with established cloud providers. If you have specific data residency requirements, get in touch and we will talk them through with you.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is not used to train public foundation models, and is not pooled with other customers to build shared models.

Who can see my data?

Only people you invite. Data is scoped to your organisation and to individual projects within it, and that scope is enforced on every backend request. Advisors you invite see only the projects you grant them.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, at any time. You can export your documents and records, and we will delete your data on request in line with our privacy policy.

How much does Aidvisor cost?

Plans start at $249 per month excluding GST for a single farm business, with Professional and Practice tiers above that. Full detail is on our pricing page.

Is there a free trial?

We start new customers with a guided walkthrough using your own data instead of a cold trial login — it is a better use of your time. Get in touch and we will arrange one.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Billing is month to month and you can change or cancel your plan at any time.

Do my advisors need to pay?

No. Advisors invited into your project are covered by your plan. Advisory practices wanting their own multi-client console take a Practice plan.

Still got questions?

Ask them directly. We would rather answer the hard ones now than have you find out later.
