Aidvisor for Viticulture

Every block, costed to the vintage

A vineyard lives or dies on yield, quality and the terms of a supply contract. Aidvisor holds all three together so you can see what a block truly returns — and what a quality decision actually costs.

The questions that matter

The questions that shape a vintage

These are the questions Vineyard owners and managers ask constantly — and that usually take days of spreadsheet work to answer. Aidvisor answers them from your own records, with the sources attached.

  • What does each block cost us per tonne, and what does it return?
  • Are we tracking to fulfil contracted tonnage across all varieties?
  • What does dropping fruit for quality cost us against the contract price?
  • How did this season’s spray and canopy spend compare to last?
  • Which blocks justify replanting, and on what payback?
  • What happens to margin if yields come in 12% under estimate?
What does the Block 7 thinning decision cost us?
Dropping to two bunches per shoot on Block 7 reduces estimated yield from 11.2 t/ha to 8.6 t/ha — about 18.2 t across the block, or $41,900 at your contracted price. Against that, the block currently sits 21 t above its contracted tonnage, so the reduction still fulfils the contract and avoids an over-supply discount. What you get

Built around vineyard realities

Block records, vintage costs and supply agreements held in one place, so quality and commercial decisions can be weighed against each other properly.

Block-level yield tracking

Estimates against actuals by block and variety, with the history to know which blocks consistently over- or under-deliver.

Vintage costing

Cost per tonne and per hectare built from your actual spend — labour, spray programme, canopy work and machinery.

Contract fulfilment

Supply agreements indexed and readable, with contracted tonnage tracked against current estimates as the season develops.

Quality trade-offs

Model what a thinning or harvest-timing decision costs in tonnage against what it earns in price or relationship.

Season & climate context

Growing-season conditions held alongside the block record, so a light vintage can be explained rather than just absorbed.

Replant analysis

Test replanting and redevelopment decisions on payback, using the block’s own cost and yield history.

Questions

Viticulture FAQ

Does Aidvisor work for growers supplying under contract as well as estate vineyards?

Both. Contract growers get tonnage tracking and fulfilment modelling against their agreements; estate operations can carry winery cost centres as separate projects within the same organisation.

Can it read our supply agreements?

Yes. Agreements are uploaded as documents, indexed and cited. When you ask about contracted tonnage or pricing terms, the answer points back to the clause it came from.

How does it handle multiple varieties and blocks?

Blocks and varieties are first-class records. Costs and yields are tracked at block level, so you can compare true return per hectare across the vineyard rather than working from a whole-of-vineyard average.

Is it useful outside of vintage?

Very. The off-season is when replant decisions, capital spend and next year’s contracts are settled — all of which are better decided against the block-level history Aidvisor has been accumulating.
