Terms of Service

The terms on which Aidvisor Limited provides the Aidvisor platform. Last updated July 2026.

These terms form a binding agreement. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. Questions? [email protected].

1. The service

Aidvisor provides AI-assisted analysis of business and operational data that you supply. The platform generates insights, scenarios and forward-looking plans based on the information available to it.

2. Advisory disclaimer

Aidvisor is a decision-support tool, not a licensed financial, legal, tax, veterinary or agronomic adviser. Outputs are generated by AI systems from the data you provide and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations. You remain responsible for your business decisions. Before acting on material matters — particularly financial, tax, regulatory or animal-health decisions — you should verify the underlying figures and seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure
  • You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorised access
  • You are responsible for the access you grant to team members and advisors

4. Your data

You retain all ownership of the data and documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your business data to train public foundation models. Our handling of personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

You warrant that you have the right to upload the content you provide, and that doing so does not breach any obligation you owe to a third party.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Attempt to access data belonging to another organisation
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the platform without written authorisation
  • Reverse engineer the service or extract it to build a competing product
  • Upload malicious code, or content that is unlawful or infringing
  • Resell or sublicense access without our written agreement
  • Use the service in a way that degrades it for other customers

6. Fees and billing

  • Fees are as set out on our pricing page or in your order form
  • All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically
  • Plan changes take effect from the next billing period
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days’ written notice

7. Availability

We work to keep Aidvisor available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and will give reasonable notice of planned downtime where practicable.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where you acquire the service for business purposes, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of production or loss of data, and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Intellectual property

We own the platform, its software and all associated intellectual property. You own your data. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
